What you can expect from our programs

Girls Practice and Game locations are held at Kent Primary and George Fischer Middle School.  Your daughter's coach will contact you to let you know where and when practices and games will be.

Girls K-2:   This program is for players in grades K-2. The emphasis of this program is to have fun and to teach the players the basic skills and rules of the game.

Practices will be 60 minutes long and will be held once a week, for approximately eight (8) sessions. The program will focus on skills using a stations format and possibly end with scrimmages.

A stick and a jersey will be provided by CRYLAX. Protective eye gear, however, you will need to purchase. They can be found at local retailers such as Dick’s Sporting Goods and Olympia Sports.

Girls 3-4:   This program is for players in the 3rd and 4th grades during the season of play.

Practices will be held two (2) times a week. Each practice will be 90 minutes. An additional one (1) or two (2) games will be played per week. The 3/4 season will consist of 6-10 games. Games will be played against other 3/4 travel teams in Putnam, Westchester and Dutchess Counties.

The emphasis of this program is to devote attention to building solid fundamental skills and good habits, introducing rules of play, developing field awareness and working as a team.
